Happy 8 Month Birthday!

On my way back from Killeen with Caden it dawned on me that today, Caden is 8 months old. He is 3/4 a year old. Times flies when you are having fun. Here is a list of what he can do now.

1. Crawl so fast he is in the next room before you realize he has left the one you are in.
2. Smile so adorably it steals your heart.
3. Flirts.
4. Pulls up on everything and sometimes lets go and stands without realizing.
5. Falls often, cries occasionally when it happens but shakes it off mostly. If really upset about he crawls to mommy and pulls up to be held.
5. Eats crackers, white corn tortillas, french fries, and baby food. All baby food must be mixed with fruit or he won't eat it.
6. Holds his own bottle and sippy cup.
7. Sleeps through the night.
8. Gets ear infections a lot. We are going to an ENT to see about tubes tomorrow.
9. Takes a bath sitting up in the bathtub. Slips and falls occasionally but shakes it off because his mommy tells him to.
10. Loves to play with wires. Any wires. Scary.
11. Moves objects from hand to hand with ease.
12. Plays independently.
13. Loves to play catch the football with mom and dad.
14. Babbles constantly.
15. Giggles.
16. Gets silly when very sleepy like his mommy and then passes out.
17. Hams it up for the camera.

Check out slide show of his adventures in my classroom today. I was silly and thought I could get it cleaned up and lesson plans done with him there. I did get lesson plans done while he napped but cleaning up didn't happen.
