So as you can all see we are expecting a baby boy. (Mom, I told you he was a boy.) He is not at all like his mama. He was very camera shy and modest. Everything they wanted to look at he put his hands in front of. It took all kinds of tricks to get him to move so they could all the measurements they needed to get. He finally let them get a few glimpses between his legs but when they tried to take a picture for us he put his hand in the way again.
He is 11 oz right now. He is measuring at 19 weeks 2 days instead of 19 weeks 4 days but he has been two days behind the entire pregnancy. They said that everything looks great though. We also got the results of all the genetic testing we did and everything came back within normal limits. So we are thankful for that.
I talked to the nurse about not being able to eat much meat at all and got some more ideas on how to get more protein. I think it is weird I have a vegetarian baby. After the doctor visit we went to Babies R Us and registered. Then we ate some lunch and went to Target and registered. I also bought the baby a present. He now has four classic pooh stuffed animals(Pooh, Tigger, Piglet, and Eeyore) and a honey pot that has four classic pooh finger puppets. It was too cute to pass up.
I was planning on scanning in the pictures for everyone to see but the computer went nutty. So I will do it when I have more time and patience to fix it. I hope everyone is having a good day. :)
